I own and breed, on a small scale, Salukis and Shetland Sheepdogs, under the prefix Kashmani. My first Saluki was born in 1971 and my first litter was born in 1977. Many of my Salukis have merits from shows as well as from lure coursing and track racing. My most recent litter of Salukis was born in 2018. I bought my first Sheltie in 1995 and bred my first litter of Sheltie puppies in 1999. I have also owned a small Poodle and a Whippet. I hope to breed Salukis and Shelties again.
Since 2002, I’m an International Championship Show Judge licensed by the FCI and the Swedish Kennel Club. I was first licensed to judge Salukis, Whippets and Shelties, and since 2009 I’m Group judge for all Sighthound breeds in FCI Group 10, and also for those breeds in Group 5 which once were part of Group 10 (the so-called Mediterranean breeds). I’m also licensed to judge other breeds, in FCI Groups 1, 5 and 9.
During the years I have served on committees and subcommittees of various dog associations such as the Swedish Kennel Club, the Swedish Sighthound Club, and the Swedish Saluki Club.
I have judged at International and National Allbreed shows and at Championship specialties in Europe (Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Germany, Great Britain, France, Belgium, Italy, Luxembourg, Croatia, Czech Republic and Poland), as well as in the USA, Australia and Canada.
I look forward to judging in Finland again!
