Patricia Burunkai

I have been being a member of the Hungarian Kennel Club since 2001.
I am a basset hound breeder since 2002.

The first Basset Hound Club recognized by FCI was established in 2003 in Hungary. I was a founding member and a board member in the club since the beginning until 2009. In 2009 I was awarded by the Hungarian Kennel Club with a silver wreath badge for my cynological work.

I passed my FCI judge's examination for the first breed, the Basset hound in 2012 and the Bloodhound in 2013. I completed to judge all breeds from FCI group VI. in March, 2015, and I passed my exam for Group IV. in August, 2018 and then from the Hungarian breeds from the Group I. in 2023. I enjoy the process of learning about the various dog breeds.
I worked in the Hungarian Kennel Club's National Dog Breeds Introduction and Popularization
School Program between 2019-2022.

I am a member of the Supervisory Board of Hungarian Judges' Corporation from March 20. 2022.
I would like to my grateful thanks to the club committee of Eastern Finland Sighthound Club
inviting me to judge the CAC shows in Kouvola.

I wish all exhibitors, participants and concerned people a pleasant day!

Kind regards,
Patricia Burunkai
